Who is "Queen"?

Queen was a british
Rockband formed in 1970.

Their lineup wih Freddy Mercury, Brian May,
Roger Taylor and John Deacon remained
unchanged for two whole decades
At the end of the website, you can
listen to Queen's most famous song.

FREDDIE MERCURY:

Freddie Mercury was a British musician
and one of the most important rock singers of the 1970s and 1980s.

Mercury composed world hits such as
Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are the Champions,
Don't Stop Me Now and Living on My Own.
Unfortunately Freddie died at the age of 45 from AIDS.

BRIAN MAY:

Brian Harold May was a founding member of
Queen, along with lead singer Freddie Mercury and drummer
Roger Taylor, having previously played with Taylor and
Tim Staffell in the band Smile.

After completing the line-up with bassist John Deacon,
Queen established themselves as one of
Britain's leading rock bands.

ROGER TAYLOR:

Roger Meddows Taylor is a British drummer
and singer. He is a founding member and, like the other three
band members, composer and songwriter of the rock group Queen and their drummer.

The most famous pieces he has written are Radio Ga Ga, A Kind of Magic, Breakthru,
These Are the Days of Our Lives and I'm in Love with My Car.
Taylor was also the head of the band The Cross and also performed solo.

JOHN DEACON:

John Richard Deacon is a British musician.

He became known as the bassist of the British rock band Queen,
for whom he also wrote songs such as Another One Bites the Dust,
I Want to Break Free, Friends Will Be Friends and Spread Your Wings.
He has not performed in concert since 1997.
